AI builders ship one font family at three sizes, and every heading is the same weight. Real hierarchy needs contrast: make your page titles noticeably larger than you think is safe, tighten their letter-spacing slightly, and let body text breathe at 16–18px with relaxed line height. If everything is medium-weight and medium-sized, nothing is important.
3. Kill the card grid reflex

Generated layouts tend to use uniform padding everywhere, which flattens the page. Deliberate design uses unequal spacing: tight grouping for related elements, generous gaps between unrelated sections. If your section padding and your element padding are the same number, the page has no rhythm. Double the space between sections and halve it inside groups, then adjust from there.
5. Add one opinionated detail
Every memorable interface has at least one thing a template wouldn't do: an unusual empty-state illustration, a distinctive button shape, a monospace accent for numbers, a bold footer. One or two opinionated details signal that a human made choices. Zero details signal that nobody did.
